Like any other equipment, your onsite power system needs periodic maintenance. Buckeye Power Sales offers customized planned maintenance (PM) programs to keep it in top condition and ready to operate when the power goes out.
Annual PM: Buckeye Power Sales will perform a 21 point inspection of the system and the results reported to the customer. Also included:
- Change oil, oil filter and fuel filter
- Test and treat coolant, as required
- Engine Tune-up with parts (gas or gasoline engines only)
- Dispose of waste oil and filters at an EPA approved recycling facility
- Replace air filter, if needed (additional fee)
- Optional lube oil analysis
If we determine the need for repairs to the system, we will inform you and perform the repairs with your approval.
Semi-Annual PM: The same services will be provided as with the Annual PM with an additional inspection performed at six month intervals.
Quarterly PM: The same services will be provided as with the Annual PM with an additional inspection performed at three month intervals.
Monthly PM: The same services will be provided as with the Annual PM with an additional inspection performed monthly.
Multi-Year Maintenance Contracts:
Buckeye Power Sales Co. offers extended maintenance contracts to cover the service on your units for the future. This allows you to lock in current rates for future services. Additionally, future services can be spread out over a longer period of time, allowing you to budget appropriately. We can customize our maintenance contracts for most any demanding situation or application. Ask us for details!
Load Bank Agreements:
It is our recommendation that you should regularly plan on a load bank test to put your unit under the appropriate load to bring the unit up to rated temperature and test the unit’s performance. This service can be performed in addition to any of our maintenance programs. We have the capability to load test systems up to three megawatts, and have an inventory large enough to allow us to schedule multiple load bank tests in any of our locations.
Load bank testing will insure that your generator complies with the industry code requirement of NFPA-110, Standard for Emergency and Standby Power Systems, 2010 Edition. A current copy of this code may be obtained from NFPA at http://www.nfpa.org/AboutTheCodes/AboutTheCodes.asp?DocNum=110.
PM Survey - this survey is for customers who have recently had a planned maintenance service/visit and would like to complete the survey regarding that service.
