Manufacturing Plant

This project provides emergency standby power for a manufacturing plant. Power is provided by Kohler model KD2250 rated at 2250kW at 277/480 volts. This generator supports a new expansion building where existing Kohler generators support other buildings at the same site. The unit is located inside it’s own custom sound attenuated weather enclosure with a 6000 gallon diesel fuel tank that will allow for at least 36 hours of run time before requiring refueling. Another unique aspect of this system is that the 3000 amp Kohler automatic transfer switch is installed inside the same enclosure as the generator to allow for ease of installation.
