University of Cincinnati Medical Sciences Building Rehabilitation

This equipment was installed as part of a project to rehabilitate the Medical Sciences building at the University of Cincinnati. The generator provides emergency standby power for this building, which is where laboratories, offices and classrooms for the College of Medicine are located. A sound attenuated weather enclosure was provided that reduced the sound emitted from the generator by 40 decibels, making it friendly to those located nearby. This is a great example of the timelines that projects like this may require. It was over a year and a half from the time that the project was bid to the time that the equipment was started up and commissioned.
